“I have a particular interest and curiosity in learning new languages. I already have some knowledge of English and French, so my intention was to start a new language from scratch. German was a big challenge: it’s notoriously complicated and hard to learn.
The best part of the course is the dynamic of the classes, with conversations focused on specific topics. This forces you to use all the tools you learn (vocabulary, grammatical structures, pronunciation, etc.). In the workplace, English is the standard corporate language, although we have exchanged a few emails in German with some companies in Central Europe.
The method is really dynamic and excellently structured. Above all, it focuses on consolidating learning in a practical way. The more theoretical part (grammar, etc.) is introduced in an extremely practical context. The teachers are really professional, with lots of empathy for their students. Their expertise in teaching and learning is clear to see and they really know how to capture the attention of students throughout the class, without it losing its pace.
Although it took me a while to get used to it, I think remote training is excellent. The applications and interaction with teachers are perfect. The big advantage of videoconferencing is the convenience. When you attend classes in person, you have to travel, although the interaction is better and you are in another environment. It lets you take a break from work and you disconnect much more.”
